Copyright & Takedown
Last updated: 2026-10-14
Our role
KooRadio is a directory and player: we link to radio streams and display station information, but we do not host, upload or control any audio content. Streams play directly from each station’s own servers to your browser.
How to submit a takedown request
Send an e-mail to [DMCA-EMAIL] including all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
- The exact URL(s) on kooradio.app you want removed (e.g. the station page);
- Your contact information (name, e-mail, phone);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What we do with a valid request
- Acknowledge the request within 2 business days;
- Remove the affected page(s), station entries and any associated logo from the website, typically within 5 business days;
- Apply the removal at the database layer with a suppression record, so the entry is not resurrected by the next data sync;
- Notify the upstream data provider where appropriate.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice with the same contact details plus a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification. We will review it and, where appropriate, restore the content.
Repeat notices & abusive requests
We keep a record of notices and counter-notices as required by applicable law. Knowingly material misrepresentation may make you liable for damages.
